A few terms show up repeatedly across Velvet Drip’s menu and site copy. Here’s what each one actually means, in one place.
Blended to order
Means the shake isn’t made until your specific order comes in — no batch-blending in advance, no holding finished shakes in a fridge waiting for someone to order them.
Hand-poured cream
Cream measured and added manually per shake, rather than dosed by machine in bulk — more control over the final texture, shake by shake.
FSSAI registered
A formal registration with India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority, confirming the kitchen operates within the country’s food safety and hygiene requirements.
Made fresh, never frozen
Nothing in the kitchen is pre-frozen in bulk and thawed to fill an order — every shake starts from its actual ingredients each time.
Spoon-thick
The texture standard the whole menu is built around — thick enough to hold briefly on a spoon rather than pouring like a regular drink. The full menu is the place to see all of this in practice rather than just on a glossary page.
